His last album titles itself " L'essentiel "We met it in Marrakech, at the time of the fistival of the movie, where it confided us that that, for him, is essential in one life.
Is the essential of the art of Faudel indeed in your last album?
Yes, quite. After 13 years of career and six albums, I think indeed that the essential of my work there face, even if it remains two or three hidden songs in funds of my drawer. The tubes or most known songs, or that the public has the more appreciated, are in my last album, and it is for this reason that I titled" essentiel."
*The essential of life for you if there was a choice? Health or the fortune?
Without thinking one second and without hesitation, health. At the moment, I think of it more and more since I am become father. The concern gnaws me and I often ask the questions on health and his life! I also think about the although one can make around oneself. it is true that the man thinks generally to the fortune, it is a pity. I know that it is important, but I realize today, to the look of my life and that that I lived, that with few things, one can be happy in spite of everything!
When one is artist, some what it is essential to enter into the political life?
To the level of the politics, there are two categories of artists. If I can allow, there are the artists who are forgeries elections and in Nicolas Sarkozy, I want underlined that I have not been recovered. Sarkozy is a friend of eight years. When I knew it,it was just mayor.it got married one of my buddies, that is called Ali Benaarbia, native of Oran and former player of soccer in the PSG. For the small history,it had gotten married with a Moroccan, native of Meknès, that names itself Wafaa. It is therefore in these circumstances that I knew the President.He was not everything that it is today. When it presented itself to the presidential, I wanted to defend my ideas. Yes, I think quec'est a wealth of having two cultures. It is not only essential but primordial. I often say it in my songs. I am French of Algerian origin, I am born in France but, of the point of view of the culture, an Arab remains an Arab.The traditions, the customs, etc. All it is a wealth. And this wealth served me a lot in my career. The journeys also make well me a lot of. One day I am in Dubaî, another I am at Morocco or Japan, I eat with Tunisians, I wake up in Paris. All this mixture of the kinds only makes me the good. Today, I impregnate me of this wealth to be inspired and it is essential for me.
*What is essential for you, the family or the liberty? God or the beings?
Humph! Already the first thing and immediately without hesitating, it is Rabi, God, and without being of quite the demago. I have indeed God's feeling in the heart. Without wanting to be conceited, I have really fear of God. After has the family, it is of course important. As for everybody, sometimes that happens well, of other time a few less well.When one grows and that one begins to live some experiences, as it is the case for everybody, one thinks about the liberty. What does that want to say, free? Sometimes, you feel free but you are forced to live in a society where, unfortunately, you are not free. I think that one is never free to 100% but one comes there, since one asks the question. In any case, to be free that is beautiful.

In fact, I didn't ever ask the question. I have five senses that work, hamdoullah. Does a 6 feel? Here is I found! I would like to be capable to teleport me! Imagine if one could make it!
